I was born and raised in West Baltimore. I attended Baltimore City College High School and graduated with a B.S from Morgan State University in Family and Consumer Science. For over 14 years, I have served her community by working with a variety of populations including pregnant mothers, homeless men, youth, adolescents and people of all ages with varying needs. Lakesha began her career working in mental health in 2009 and has since become a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner. I have a passion for people and helping them see their own potential to accomplish their goals.

Our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is designed to empower clients by enhancing their independence and self-sufficiency. Tailored to individual needs and goals, our supportive services program focuses on developing skills for better conflict resolution and reducing the need for psychiatric hospitalizations. Spanning six weeks, each session is a step towards building a more resilient and independent future.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy at BHMHS offers a personalized approach to mental health care, providing a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With a focus on fostering growth and healing, our therapists work closely with clients to address their unique challenges and support them in achieving their personal wellness goals.
Med Management
Our medication management service ensures that clients receive comprehensive care that includes the careful monitoring and adjustment of medications. By evaluating the effectiveness and managing the side effects, we aim to optimize the therapeutic outcomes for those dealing with mental health conditions, ensuring a balanced approach to treatment.
Substance Abuse
Dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery in Baltimore, Maryland, our Substance Abuse program offers comprehensive treatment options including counseling, education, and support groups. Tailored to each individuals needs, our approach not only addresses the physical aspects of addiction but also the underlying emotional and behavioral patterns, promoting long-term wellness and recovery.
